First off, we lost BHWT ex batt Mollie over night. No idea what time she closed hers eyes but she was snug in her cat box and in the house, warm. She's had a lovely retirement, been a sweetheart and will be sadly missed. Good night Mollie Moodles, wouldn't have missed this opportunity for the world x
So plans for today are mainly sitting in the warm working on the Mac and attracting some positive things. Having a spell of ideas, a flurry if you will and it takes a day like today to sort them into some semblance of order. I know I'll do it, change is happening again and I recognize the signs. The world has seen change so perhaps this is part of it, things will never be the same again and that's good.
So here's to abundance!
Tomorrow a post about attracting what you want, it's simply effective!
Warm wishes
Jayne

Mr O is back and I have to say I love the idea of getting us all cooking. I think it's easy to forget that we're not all domestic gods and goddesses. I can cook, sure, I did all the cooking before Michael got the 'cooking bug' my main issue is time and making the time! I can lose momentum to be creative when I think I'll lose time, so much else to do. I also get bored of the same old recipes, years of diets and food restriction in the past.
I do cook now and we would rarely reach for any convenience food, all I lack is excitement in the kitchen, that's the new goal. So I've bought Jamie's book to inspire 'me' and my clients. It's worked so far. I've also invited my dad to be my first pass it on (if you join you get great recipes and cookery lessons, ideal if you're just starting out!) and he can pass something on to my mum. Watch this space :-)
So what it's really all about for me is encouraging people to eat well and enjoy what they eat. A nation of dieter's has forgotten how to eat. I am sure there are families who eat poor diets but what about those who diet constantly. What messages do their children get and what food fears are being created or worse. I'll use pass it on as part of my work, getting eating into a positive format, relaxed, fun and enjoyable.
So enjoy food, make it easy and pass it on...
Have a great day!
I am often asked how I find ways to relax and this is for you. Relaxation is an individuals way to simply be, escape, change thought processes, slow down a gear. Some lie on a beach some of us get out into nature, change the pace and have a fabulous time.
So...
Had a fabulous week off and it was just at the right time. I wasn't exhausted BUT I was ready for the complete break and this was about as close as I could get to just that.
We enjoy out of season breaks and holidays. We have traveled a fair bit and have 'done' the sunshine beach holidays. Let's face it we have no children so we can really do what 'we' want. Mix into this an absolute love of Daisie and the prefect holiday is a cottage somewhere in the UK, in good walking locations.Favourites include, Scotland, Yorkshire, Herefordshire and Cornwall.
So this short break of a long weekend was to Symonds Yat, right on the River Wye and in the Valley, think a scene from Lord of the Rings Rivendell when the mists hang. It's mystical and peaceful (oh and has a wonderful pub across the river served by a hand drawn ferry :-) )
The rest of the week was a mixture of absolute treats and catching up at home, way over due tasks like ironing (yes dull but necessary) a shopping trip with mum, hot stone treatment and an 11 mile walk round Grafham Water. That was fun and a little scary as I decided to do it alone to prove to myself I could do it! I told Michael where I was going and followed the designated route BUT the route was pretty poorly signed so inevitably I had to ask. Anyway I made it!!! Daisie had a great time and we're planning to walk every weekend now it's cooler (7 plus miles) and come home to bubbling stews in the slow cooker!
Last Saturday a day on the river with Chrissie and Neil ( sleeping in a tent on the bank) and the final shot of that cute little 'lad' is 'Woody' . Chris and Neil were collecting him on the Sunday from Battersea Dogs Home so welcome to Woody, we'll meet you next month. Oh and how did those 2 girls get into my week off post, it's my long awaited Buff Orp and friend. Introducing Pumpkin and Butternut!
Excuse the fashion disaster but it was freezing and damp and I wasn't prepared (I don't do camping) anyway this was the best I could do to keep warm and crocs were boat friendly but let the damp through...brrrrr
Have a bright day wherever you are.
Well Tony at Aviaries 4 U did an amazing job of our run. 2 sections,One main large run area and a decent sized add on for intro's/hosp or naughty step :-) at the moment it's housing Poppy, Tulip and Molly as they have been a little too keen on chasing Will.
On Monday it will house a young Orpington (can't wait) and friend (yet to decide but small and docile) who will move into the smaller run with Will. They will roam the garden and when spring comes they will all be introduced and have the culvert to extend their runs.
Tony and Graham worked so well and smoothly, all went to plan. Photo's to come but here's some small one's taken on my iphone to wet your appetites!
I'll add some more soon but really importantly...
TONY WILL DONATE 10% OF HIS PROFITS TO BHWT WHEN ANYONE ORDERS A RUN AND MENTIONS ME!! BIG THANK YOU TO TONY AND HIS WIFE. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TELL TONY ON HIS ENQUIRY FORM OR EMAIL YOU'VE SEEN THIS RUN and mention Jayne Cox BHWT.
Contact Aviaries 4 u www.aviaries4u.co.uk and remember Tell Tony :-)
I was sitting at the computer today, so thought I'd post . We've been to the farmers market and bought some lovely organic veggies, carrots, beetroot, pots, plums (ok fruit too) brocolli, celery and all for just over £7.00. Wonderful, fresh and local! :-) Brassingham beef is fantastic so I've walked Daisie come home and fed the girls with carrot and beetroot storks and leaves and made a shin stew. It's bubbling away on low in the slow cooker so we can go out for a long walk this afternoon. So for a wet weekend it's got a real nice feel about it, I think the light therapy and increased walks has really paid off this Autumn.
I just had a family come to the door as they needed change from buying eggs. I noticed out of the window the little boy found a blue egg and excitedly showed his dad and asked if he could take a BHWT leaflet. I really love seeing children take an interest in their world and the welfare of animals. They've been invited to visit when we have drier weather. Children really are the future.
Coming up this week...
Our very own Fowlty Towers, a palace for hens!
Happy sunday
Hmmn I notice that my sad lamp is on rather too regularly for August. I've actually been using it at my desk since July, just on those gloomy days that come even in Summer. I think I'm ultra aware as Oliver has just added my SAD page to my website, as I bring more and more services to new and existing clients.
I have to be honest this all excites me. I need to have a goal in life, I love doing life audits, and I know many readers of my blog feel the same or 'want' to feel this. It's great to be driven but it's really important to have a break and a power nap on the fast road of life! My next break is September, 4 weeks-ish and who's counting. Me ;-)
I'll be posting more in my blog now the pages are up, I find I have limited space mentally to develop pages and work on the blog, I suppose I use the same creative side on my brain or something?? I'm sure someone will have the answer.
So coming up this Autumn, I am happy to look beyond Summer as Autumn is such a lovely time, I am planning more on SAD and how to cope. My SAD and light therapy programme is up and running from this September. It's based on my experience of managing SAD and motivational coaching to get you through it. If I can do it so can you!
Check out my page on SAD and you'll perhaps recognize symptoms.
I am also working on a programme for the diet for life and Obesity programmes. Courses I will run for woman who compulsively eat and are Obese. I just think it's time I helped these women, it's a natural next step. It's simply unfair that diets and diet clubs are the only offering. If you read this and you're interested please contact me. I am sitting down and starting this process right now!
So this is my update, life is good!
Wishing you all the best
Jayne
I want to throw a little bit of motivation out there, to whoever needs it! I am imagining it seeking out all those who feel a little bit lost, not sure what to do or where to start today. Perhaps just so busy the list is daunting ( I recognize that one!)
If the hours dribble away and you can't see what you've done with your time, change it! Make a start today. If you have some obstacle you can't seem to move past just sit down and look at it, it's amazing how much time we spend avoiding something we don't want to do. Think of time as cash and spend it wisely, some for fun some for the essentials.
I work and take a power break, see the girls, trot daisie up to the field, just step into the garden. No matter where you are take a break, 2 minutes to be quiet, to reflect.
You deserve it!
Well my latest green 'test' is one I've been waiting to do for absolute ages...Make up! It must be a good 3 months so far and I've made an almost complete change over to Mineral make up. I've started with Bella Pierre and been really impressed, I have kept my bronzer and under eye lightener but hope by the autumn I've found another alternative. Lili lolo is the next brand I want to try, it's British so want to support it!
I've so far found my skin is more comfortable and not tight at all. I've got a picture to take of my old make up before it's binned and post here and once that's done it's bye bye to loads of chemicals!!
The Dr Hauska range is now my chosen skin care regime and losing the moisturiser at night has worked wonders, I never believed I could stop using it as my skin was so dry!
Well that's it for now,
Have a great day
As I move past 42 it makes very good sense to add to my service's balancing my work life and giving clients other options and welcoming new clients. It's been a long time coming, as I've built my practice and thought long and hard how to tackle the prickly subject of 'diet'!
These are my planned additions!
Here goes...
Holistic Life Coaching
As a Professional Holistic Life Coach I bring a ‘tool bag’ full of life experience and professional training with Curly Martin, acclaimed Life Coach and Author. SAD (seasonal affective disorder) and mild to moderate depression can really benefit from my approach and perhaps combine with 'motivation on the move' for that extra blast of outdoor magic! Whatever you want to achieve, let’s make it happen!
Eating Disorder Therapy
I support my clients as they move into recovery. I use self developed techniques, developed over years in private practice and through my personal experience of recovery. I use counselling skills, CBT and coaching techniques to ‘walk’ with you as you take those tentative steps. I understand the fear, as I have made the journey myself.
Motivation on the move sessions!
This is available to my coaching clients who want that little bit more motivation or just like the outdoor life. Perhaps manage weight and combine with the diet for life, improve fitness or simply look at their lives, on the move! It’s a dynamic outdoor session walking locally and at various local parks of choice.
The Diet for Life
Now we’re really cooking! We get back to basics and think good, wholesome food, forget fads and diets and sorry no quick fixes. If diets are your thing, then this isn’t for you.
We identify triggers, change behaviour, create positive changes and get you moving! You choose what you want to do, walking, perhaps rebound training, yoga for relaxation.
My approach to ‘diet’ is massively influenced by my love of getting in touch with nature, going greener and taking control back of my own life. I care about how the food got to my plate and where it came from! I combine this with my therapy based background and coaching. . Like a good recipe combine the right ingredients and enjoy, the diet for life!
Men too!
I am often asked if I work with male clients with eating disorders and is coaching available to men, absolutely!* It matters to me that we really have no idea how many men suffer in silence, let’s change this. I also think men get a raw deal when they have an issue to resolve, Coaching is dynamic and powerful for both men and women.
All my services are available to you, with the exception of motivation on the move and I use the same 'tried and tested' approach!
*Available to clients over 18 years of age
Ready to go from OK to WONDERFUL!
Please contact me, together we can make it happen!
Feels good to get this posted!
Have a great, sunny day
